I believe that our bodies and minds were created with the ability to heal themselves, but sometimes we experience disruptions to the healing process and we need support to facilitate the healing. My approach in counseling is to treat the person as a whole by focusing on each person’s unique goals for what they want to achieve and creating an individualized approach to support their mental health recovery. By addressing the challenges each individual faces, building on their strengths, identifying behaviors and thoughts that are not helpful, and developing new skills to use, I help empower each person on their journey to healing and recovery.

About
I completed my undergraduate education at Iowa State University and my graduate education at UW-Superior. I have worked with individuals in both a residential and outpatient setting and I specialize in trauma treatment.
