Hands are essential for daily function. When issues arise it can be very frustrating. Each patient’s lifestyle and functional requirements are unique, and treatment is always tailored to the individual. I believe patients need to be educated about the problem so they can participate in the decision making process. A majority of problems can be treated nonsurgically. Occasionally, surgery may be the best treatment option. Whatever the treatment plan, I am committed to working with patients to achieve the best possible outcome.

About

I grew up in Plymouth, Wisconsin and attended the University of Notre Dame for my undergraduate education. I completed my medical school and orthopedic surgery residency in Chicago. I then continued my training with a hand surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Mary S. Stern Hand Surgery Fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio. After finishing my medical training, I wanted to return to home to Wisconsin to practice. My family of seven currently lives in Kohler, Wisconsin.

I specialize in the comprehensive treatment of hand and wrist disorders, offering both nonsurgical and surgical treatment options. I provide care for common upper extremity problems, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis, as well as complex hand and wrist disorders. I consider it a great privilege to work with patients and get them back to their daily lives.

Most of my time outside of medicine is spent enjoying the chaos of raising five active kids and attending all of their sporting events. I also enjoy golf and lake life with the family.
