About

I am a Manitowoc native and a graduate of Roncalli High School. I attended Marquette University for undergrad and then completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I spent the first two decades of my practice in Green Bay, and then decided it was time to come back home to serve my community. I felt I would be able to bring my extensive experience and passion for treating patients with hip and knee arthritis to patients in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties.

I pride myself on being an innovator and bringing cutting edge technology to my patients. In 2009, I was the first surgeon in Northeast Wisconsin to perform anterior hip replacement. This was a major turning point in my career, as I was able to elevate the level of care offered to local patients. I have also spent the past 10 years of my career striving to enhance outcomes for patients who receive total knee replacement, through a team approach to care and innovative methods in postoperative pain management. We were one of the first surgical teams in the region to offer outpatient joint replacement. In 2021, we performed the very first FDA-approved augmented reality total knee replacement in the United States at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy managing wildlife on my property in Door County and spending time in the outdoors. My wife and I will be empty-nesters starting this summer and look forward to this next chapter.
