Holy Family Memorial patients can now have their prescriptions filled before leaving the Emergency Room. HFM is the first health care facility in Manitowoc County to offer InstyMeds, a fully automated ATM-style machine that dispenses prescription medications directly to patients.

Holy Family Memorial announced KDC/ONE Northern Labs as the winner of Move Manitowoc—a month-long community step challenge held in May to improve employee health and raise money for a good cause. As the winner, KDC/ONE Northern Labs will donate all competition proceeds, $2,750, to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin, Inc.
HFM announces 2019 scholarship recipients

Holy Family Memorial and its medical staff recently awarded scholarships, totaling $13,000 to seven area students who are attending or will attend an accredited educational institution and have declared a health care-related major. The HFM medical staff awarded the following students with the Holy Family Medical/Dental Endowment Scholarship.
HFM to host event for widows.

Holy Family Memorial Hospice and a group of local widows will host a God’s Care for Widows on Saturday, August 3. The one-day program is designed for widowed women of any age or faith background and provides an opportunity to explore the emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of their grief.
HFM Wellness Center now offering Myzone wearable technology

Holy Family Memorial Wellness Center is pleased to announce it will be launching group exercises classes starting in June that leverage Myzone technology—an innovative wearable heart rate-based system that uses wireless and cloud technology to monitor heart rate, calories burned and physical activity. “We are excited to offer Myzone to our members,” says Lisa Hansen, lead specialist at the HFM Wellness Center.

Felician Village and Holy Family Memorial opens memory clinic.

Felician Village and Holy Family Memorial have collaborated to open Lakeshore Memory Clinic—a clinic to care for patients who have memory loss conditions, including people with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. The clinic is affiliated with the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute Dementia Diagnostic Clinic Network which has a statewide network of memory clinics.

The Holy Family Medical/Dental Endowment Scholarship offers a $2,000 award to six students.
